The Donadio name is synonymous with delivering financial products and services for nearly six decades. The journey began in the 1955 when Albert Donadio Jr. began working for John Hancock Financial Services in Pennsylvania. In 1969, Al Jr. recruited by John Hancock to open and operate a branch office in Warren, Michigan. Al Jr. moved his wife and three children (Verna, Albert III, & Anthony) to Michigan.
Al Donadio's Jr. charisma and leadership afforded him numerous awards from John Hancock, including induction into their Hall of Fame after receiving 15 President's Club awards. It was apparent that his love for the financial industry was passed down to his two sons, Al and Anthony, when they followed in their father's footsteps, joining the John Hancock firm in 1979 and 1981.
Al and Anthony were equally successful. Al Donadio, III started his career with John Hancock as an agent and was quickly promoted to Sales Manager in 1981. In 1988, Al III later became the District Manager of the Motor City Office, where his agency often was ranked among the top 10 agencies in the nation every year. Anthony also started his career as an agent and was promoted to Sales Manager in 1984 at John Hancock's Sterling Heights/Troy office. In 1991, the office merged with the Motor City office, allowing Anthony and Al III to join forces. Al III was inducted into the Manager's Hall of Fame in 1994 when his agency was ranked number one in the nation. In 2005 Anthony was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
In 2004, the Donadio's decided to branch off on their own, forming Donadio Financial Services. Founded on the belief of not only providing clients with quality financial services, but doing so in a welcoming family environment has made Donadio Financial the firm of choice for financial needs in the Detroit area. This philosophy began with Albert Donadio, Jr and is still one of the core values today.
